The Rideau Canal is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and winds its way through the heart of Canada’s National Capital. In winter it transforms into 7.8 km long skateway – skating is free and accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for the short time each year it is open.

Can I Skate is made possible by the great work of the NCC, who make their ice conditions available through Open Data.
